These terms govern your use of WhizBang Local. By adding a display or using the service, you agree to them.
Using the service
WhizBang Local lists fireworks displays and local coverage information. You are responsible for the details you submit and for checking that you have permission to publish them. Keep your listing accurate and update or delete it if your plans change.
Listings, coverage ratings, noise tags and approximate locations are supplied for information and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Check event details with the organiser before travelling. A listing does not confirm that a display has permission, complies with local rules or is safe to attend.
Accounts and secret links
Keep staff sign-in links and secret display edit links private. Anyone with a display's secret edit link can change or permanently delete that display. No public account is needed to add a display. If you lose the link or believe it has been shared without permission, contact us; we may need to verify your request before acting.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, misleading listings, malware, disclosure of another person's private address without permission, or attempts to interfere with the service or other users. Do not use listings to threaten or target residents or organisers.
You are responsible for complying with the laws, permissions, licence conditions and local restrictions that apply to your display. WhizBang Local provides a directory and does not organise, approve or supervise fireworks displays.
Your content
You retain responsibility for the content you submit. You grant us the limited right to store, process and display it as needed to operate the service. Submit only content you have the right to share.
Availability and changes
We may change or remove features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete listings, error-free operation or permanent retention of records. Keep your own copy of information you need.
Deletion and moderation
You can permanently delete your display using its secret edit link. We may hide or remove content, or disable accounts, where we reasonably believe there is misuse, a breach of these terms, a legal issue or a threat to the service's stability or security. Website links may require approval before publication.
Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
